How to Get Verified By Google?

  • First go to Google Webmasters Tools.
  • Login with your gmail account which you are using with in blogger blog.(Here we will verify our test blog)
  • Now click verify this site which you want to be verified.(see below screen shot)
(Note - If your blog/website has automatically verified by google then this link will not visible).

  • First you will open a webpage.
  • Change tab to "Alternate methods" and select first option "Add a meta tag to your site's home page"  see below screen shot.

  • First copy the code given code in the text box.
  • Go to Blogger Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML
  • Now find <head> tag using Ctrl+F(search).
  • Adding the above code just below <head>  tag and click on SAVE TEMPLATE.
  • After adding code again back to Google webmaster tools refresh the page and click on Verify Button.(see below image).

Multiple Sitemap Generation For blogger.

We will break the entire blog posts into small segments comprising of 500 posts each. Its better to submit 500 posts per sitemap for better indexing. To generate sitemaps for your blog follow these steps:

1.Go and check your blogger dashboard to see how many posts have you written so far.(see below screen shot)

2.Count total number posts in blogger. The count is visible just below your blog title on your dashboard.
3.If your total post count is less than 500 then you must submit the following sitemap:

For Blog with posts less than 500


atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

If your post count is more than 500 but less than 1000 then submit the following two sitemaps instead:

For Blog with posts less than 1000


atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=500

For Blog with posts less than 1500


Similarly if your post count is greater than 1000 but less than 1500 then you will submit the following sitemaps.

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=500
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1001&max-results=500

You  successfully done to generated or created the sitemaps of your blog. Lets start submit sitemap to Google webmaster tool.

Steps to Submit Blogger sitemap to Google.

1.First you go To Google Webmasters tool.
2.Login with your gmail account which you are using with in blogger blog.You will see list of all blogs that you created at blogger.Choose your required blog to submit sitemap
3.You are now on the Dashboard page where you can see reports related to crawl errors, search queries and sitemaps.
4.Then go to Site Optimization > Sitemaps.
5.Towards top right side, click the ADD/TEST SITEMAP button.
In the empty blank paste your first sitemap and then click "Submit Sitemap". Repeat this step for remaining sitemaps until you have compeleted submitting all the sitemaps that you generated.(see below image).

Now Google will take at most three days to crawl and index every single page of your blog. After 1-3 days you will find that all URLS in google.com
Now you have your sitemap to Google.Lets start submitting to Bing webmaster tool.

How to Get Verified by Bing and Yahoo?


1. Go to Bing Webmaster Tools .
2. Login with your Windows Live ID.
3. Once logged in you will see a dashboard with several options.Now click on "Add Site" Button.(see below image).

4. Now enter your blog URL and hit "Submit" Button.(see below image).

5. Now you will be asked to verify if you are the true owner of the website or blog you submitted. You will be provided three standard methods. Choose the second option which is "Copy and paste a tag in your default webpage" Click Option:2 (See Below Screen Shot).

6. You will be given a short HTML code. Simply copy the HTML code and paste the code just below <head>  in your blogger template. To do this go to:

  • Now Go to Blogger Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML > Backup your template
  • Search for <head> using Ctrl+F (search box)
  • Just below <head> tag it paste the code you got from BING
  • Click on SAVE TEMPLATE button. All done!

7. Now go to Bing webmaster page and hit the Verify button,If you pasted the correctly according to above disscussion then your Sitemap Successfully added to the list.

8. After,Submitting the sitemap Bing webmaster tool should take normally 3 days (72 hours),to start showing for your blog or website but it can even take 5 days. So be patient and expect your blog links appearing in BING and YAHOO search engines within 3 to 5 days.

Steps to Submit Blogger Sitemap to Bing and Yahoo.

  • First you Go to Bing webmaster tool.
  • Login with your hotmail and Windows live ID.
  • Once logged in you will see a dashboard with several options.Now click your Blog or website on dashboard (see below image).

After opened your blogger blog or website you will in New Dashboard like below screen shot.You will Click on "Crawl" (right side of Dashboard button) after clicking the Crawl you will see Sitemaps (XML,Atom,RSS) option click this option after the clicking you will see Add Feeds option(see below image):

After adding the code you will click on Submit button.and your sitemap submission on Bing and Yahoo is Compeleted.Enjoy the Tutorial.

Ping Yahoo and Bing.

Most of us you want to inform about a quick update at your blog to Bing and Yahoo, so that they may send crawlers to index your newly added content before time. Don't ping search engines too frequently for it can be taken as overloading the servers which can even get you penalized from search listings. Do it only when you feel that your links are not appearing at Yahoo and Bing page.

Just after blog submission you may also ping the search engines to draw more attention.

Do this:

From the links below , replace www.techtutshub.com with your blogspot links or custom domain links. (Example: techtutshub.blogspot.com or www.techtutshub.com)
Paste the following links in your browser address bar one at a time and hit enter. You will see a message "Thanks for submitting your sitemap." indicating that you have successfully pinged Bing.

LINK#1 For Posts between 1-500
